After starting his career on the flat, Be Sure (Camelot) switched trainers and disciplines in the summer of 2023. Trained by Jérôme Delaunay, the gelding finished runner-up in his debut over hurdles at Saint-Malo, then runner-up twice more. He grabs his first win at Fontainebleau before confirming his abilities, this time in chase, at Saint-Brieuc. His last two outings were at Angers, where he was runner-up before winning by three lengths on heavy ground for his first race beyond 4000 meters over hurdles in the Prix Ridgway (2m5f100y - 4100 meters), an easy victory which brings a total of 7 races and 7 times in the money for the 5 year-old.
